Topics covered in hour 1 of Rush Limbaugh's program, 10/4/2007:
- Rush Limbaugh is wondering if the Democrats are thinking that they opened a Pandora's Box with the Phony Soldier kerfuffle. Democrat Ken Salazar wants to censure Rush, except you can't censure private citizens. Rush will censure Salazar right back for being a fool
- Now the media is lying about Rush and taking him out of context. Rush didn't call any legitimate soldier a suicide bomber as some MSM are reporting. Rush admires everyone who serves in the US military, and he thanks all of them. But there are phony soldiers-but not Brian McGough (of VoteVets.org), he's a real soldier. Jesse MacBeth's birth name is Jesse Al-Zaid, Jesse MacBeth is a real phony soldier. VoteVets.org is using Rush's name to raise money
- Addadictomy segment
- Jesse MacBeth, the phony soldier discussed on Rush's show for the past week, was born in 1984 as Jesse Al-Zaid. He never got out of boot camp, his whole anti-war soldier story was manufactured. His intent was to discredit the US military. The Democrat party embraces people like this. Jesse MacBeth was a hero to the anti-war left. Now that MacBeth is discredited there have been no retractions from the left. In 2006 he joined Iraq Veterans Against the War.
- Hillary Clinton says she helped start Media Matters, but Media Matters says no, she didn't. Media Matters has non-profit status, so they cannot admit that they are a political organization
- Rush asked Wesley Clark how he's sleeping at night. Wesley Clark wants to shut up Rush Limbaugh. He said on TV that he was never a Republican or never supported George W. Bush. Factcheck.org writes that Clark has never been registered as a Republican, but voted for Nixon and Reagan. He voted for Clinton and Gore and changed his voter registration to Democrat after retiring from the military. Wesley Clark AKA Ashley Wilkes, is obviously carrying someone's water
- A caller thanks God for all that Rush does for our country. Rush needs to be careful that the media doesn't decide that Rush has apologized (even though he has not and never will), and backs off of the Phony Soldier Solder story since it is hurting them and the Democrats
